Although I am not wholly impressed with the performance of the Patriot Pyro SSD realising that the boot time as well as in game loading to be just about the same as my 7200RPM Hitachi hard disk drive, there is no way that my next computer will have a traditional rotation storage device.
The SSD makes the computer at a whole new level of comfort. Not only is the computer cooler from less disk activity, the SSD also reduces the time that the CPU will be at a high load making it possible for the computer to run without the fan for extended periods of time without turning on the fan.
