You may have come across this problem when trying to log on to Games for Windows Marketplace.
- > Click on Create New Account
Your browser will open to live.XBOX.COM
Enter your account name. Log on with your existing password.
Then agree to the change of terms of the account as seen below.
Excellent, simple but not entirely obvious fix!
ReplyDeleteProblem. It says I need parental approval. I'm 23, why do I need my parents to okay this?
ReplyDeleteAlso, when I click on "My Account" it sends me to an error page.
Hello Tyler,
DeleteDid you look through the agreement? Is it possible that your browser cache may have kept the default date (usually the current date) for the user's date of birth?
It may also be possible that a script blocker could be a culprit.
Good luck.
live.XBOX.COM just log with you current account and accept the agrement and thats it
ReplyDeleteyeah well guess what, it doesn't work.
ReplyDeletewhen i check the box and accept, it brings me to the login screen, and when i login it brings me back to the terms of use, just as if ive never done them before
Hello Simon,
DeleteYou may want to consider uninstalling the Games for Windows Marketplace, rebooting and running CCleaner.
If that still doesn't work try : a) Using another browser; b) Clearing your browser cache.
I hope this helps.
i have the same problem and it doesnt works
Deleteit keeps getting me stuck i a loop where i accept the terms and then have to log in again, and then accept the terms and so on
ReplyDeleteThanks. Exactly what I needed.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!!!

If you have an 360 or a Xbox One, try starting and singing in on them. The Change of Terms of Service didnt show for me when going to live.xbox.com, but it showed after i updated my xbox one.
DeleteDidn't work for me.
ReplyDeleteI click on the create new account button, then sign into my xbox account on the xbox sign in webpage and then it takes me to the xbox homepage. Nothing else happens. There is no service agreement to accept. I'm stuck and idk what to do.
I have this exact same problem. It's infuriating that I can't play the games I've paid for because... because nothing. There is nothing, nothing to accept or do, what trash. This, combined with every other problem that has come out of GFWL makes it TRASH, good job Microsoft. You're getting trashier by the minute.
DeleteI fixed it by going to my microsoft account page at
ReplyDeletehttps://account.microsoft.com/
Then I clicked on the 'Your info' tab
Then I clicked on "Go to your Xbox profile"
Which brought me to another sign in page even though I was already signed in to my microsoft live account
Then I just re-signed in using the same Microsoft account and I was able to accept the agreement and now GFWL works.
Thanks mate, you saved my day :)
Deletestill works in 2017 thanks dude
